Sunday, November 11, 2007 Ok so I'm feeling much better. Have had issues yet again with my drain tubes. but fixed them on my own and it seems to be the drainage on the one side dropped over night......or so I'm hoping.Spoke with M about the issues I've been dealing with and flat out told him I wasn't sure I wanted to get married. I'm to affraid to have kids with him, and I don't want to feel as if I have to protect them from him on an hourly basis. He looked at me puzzled and I explained to him about his actions towards Maggie and how he handles her. He understood. I think I'm going to take every weekend in December off and see if we can get into the couples communication class. I deffiently don't blame all the issues on him, I know I can be really hard to tolerate and deal with too. Plus as we all know I have the princess complex where I expect people to be able to read my mind. I think I got that from my mom. BTW do you know how much it sucks to watch yourself do something and go Oh FUCK I am turning into my mother!!! Yeah I've had those moments. M and I are still on track for getting married and I don't think there will be a set back (as of yet) we're on the same page now. I sent out the save-the-dates the other day and I'm really surprised they got to everyone as quickly as they did. So far everyone likes them, I loved them so it makes me happy that everyone else is impressed. Fuckers took me forever!! Note on Maggie my little terror/piddle bug. Well the last time I had her taken to the vet (which was Sat. after my surgery) she kind of went nutz! She tried to attack the nurse and the doctor. Yeah my little 7lb dog tried to attack people. I just kind of laughed and wrote it off because the last time she was there it wasn't plesant for her. However this morning M went to get us breakfast and he comes walking in wearing a red baseball hat and she starts growling at him and backing away. I'm cracking up at this whole thing because it's funny as hell but I nipped it in the bud pretty quickly. We'll see if this all continues. I'm wondering where this fear she's developed has come from. I'll figure it out. Update: Mike came in with breakfast and Maggie went completely insane. Barking and growls well I hold her down in a submissive pose, she continues to growl and Lucy becomes protective and tries to protect me and M so I have to seperate them. So finally we get Maggie to go up to M and she of course piddles and comes running back to me. I put on the baseball cap and she is really apprehensive about it but will come up to me in it. I put it on the ground for her to sniff and smell and now she's ok with it all. Go figure a baseball cap would set a dog off! |
