Sunday, November 18, 2007 So Saturday I actually managed to get out of the house and go to the dress fittings with my brides maids and flower girl. They had yet to pick out their dress, and be measured. We got there and I immeadatly plop down on the couch and let others do the stuff for me because needless to say I've have little to NO energy and the night before I didn't get any sleep due to neighbors and M's snoring. We grabbed a few new flower girl dresses that they got in that were brand new. Grabbed my favorite bridesmaid dress as well as others I liked and had picked out earlier. Kat, Bri arrived, J was already with me and we went into the room to let Bri try on the dresses she liked and talk about the bridesmaid's dresses. I have to say that bridal stores are fucking insane when it comes to the dresses they get in. They all come in a size 8 and I'm sorry most women are NOT a size 8. Poor Bri was having a bit of a shy moment because she just woke up but she got over it shortly after putting on dresses. The one we decided on isn't actually to far off from mine. The one we thought we originally wanted for her was now way to small...the kid grew like around 4-6 inches since the last time we were there. She's turning into a little lady quite quickly.After we decided on a dress for Bri we went looking for other dresses for the brides maids. They only grabbed a couple more that they liked along with the ones I picked out. Bri spent the entire time walking around the store in the dress she picked out, refusing to take it off. So we put a veil on her as well as tiara's. Now I have to say I must have already trained this girl well on picking jewelry out because the tiara she wanted was $330. Yeah, more expensive than mine yet....I've done good lol! We went back to the dressing room and J proceeded to squeez her skinny ass into the size 8 dresses.......barely mind you. They decided on my favorite dress and I couldn't be more happy. Especially since the first words out of their mouthes were, and we can wear these again, like New Years Eve, Christmas, Cocktail parties, etc. Thank goddess! Everything went really really well. At the end I was really thrilled that they loved the dress, and had a good time with it all. I was exhausted though and starving. It was time to get my big butt home and relaxing. Today I slept in until almost noon! I needed it! Tomorrow I hopefully get my last drain tube out. I'm tired of my leg being sore there not to mention empting icky fluid into a sink or toilet to dispose of it. J is in town until the 20th and then she's gone for 2 weeks and back again for winter break until the 20 somthing of Jan. Ok I'm going to go back and relax on the damned couch. I'm so tired of being tired! Oh here's a pic of Bri in here dress, and the bridesmaid dress they picked out. Mind you it's minus the black flower and it will be in black not grey like shown.    |

I'm a newlywed who got married on March 15,2008.
I'm currently living at home with my mother, husband,
2 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 tortises. We're saving up for
our first how which we'll hopefully buy soon. I'd
love to start our family, but that like everything
comes in it's own time.
I recently lost my father, and am dealing with his
death the best way I know how. Surrounding myself
