Thursday, September 27, 2007 I swear I don't know what is up with this week but it started off shitty and I'm just hoping tomorrow doesn't end shitty!!! Monday I had a nurse yell at me and cause a scene which was compeletly un-needed, plus I worked 12.5 hours! Drama at work is total bs especially when the women are older than me and behave like Maeve's high school students. Tuesday actually went semi normal. Wed. I had something that I screwed up (apologized and fixed mind you) brought up and rubbed in my face again after it had been 2 days not to mention, we had 1 doctor out for an emergency of a personal nature, 2 on an emergency call to the O.R. so we had to cancel both of their clinics. One of the patients that were canceled came in anyway after I spoke with her and rescheduled her, because she didn't believe that the doctor was in the ER working on another patient. She caused a huge scene and somehow managed to get our doctor in the office to preform half of the procedure. However we didn't see her leave I hope it was due to embarrassment! Today we had to clinic cancel another doctor's clinic because he dislocated his shoulder. He came to work thinking he could still see his afternoon and evening patients, and then realized that the pain meds were making him sick as hell and had to cancel the rest of his clinic last minute after 2 of his after noon patients had checked in. I also came into work to find out that we had a "Code White" which means we had a child under the age of 14 in cardiac arrest. They apparently said this child was a 4 year old. However come to find out it's a 40 year old man who (now get this) decided to jump off the bridge next to our hospital onto a freeway head first to commit suicide. After landing on his head he was then hit by a car as well. Our head and neck surgery team was called in to evaluate the damage and see if there was any possibility of saving his life. Mind you the man was dead on arrival and had part of his brain oozing out of his scull.....I don't think so. Oh also there's this twist.....the man shaved off his finger prints as to not be identifiable! Now there's something that get's your mind going in the direction of.....someone wanted him dead and he just did the job before they could. I am working another Saturday this weekend, and as well as another full 6 day 46 hour week next week. Oh I also get to sit down with said nurse and have a meeting with her, 2 union stewards and our supervisor sometime next week as well about her treatment towards me. I swear I'm so fucking tired I'm actually looking forward to my next surgery.....not the whole poking thing, or the drain tubes but being able to be off a full month...who fucking cares what it's for anymore!On the up side....Saturday after work I get to go see my favorite gay hairdresser to get my hair done and have girly time. OMG I love him! He left me the best message every today. I apologized to him about not being around to go to Disneyland that M and I were having issues and he's being a butt. He basically said in the message that he can't wait to see me, and that if M is getting cold feet not to worry about it. If it's true love it will last and he'll be able to wait. I love him I swear. Oh and J my maid of honor is actually improving. She's where she needs to be finally! She's enjoying school, has a good roommate, and has even gone on 1 of 2 dates (the other is this Friday) with a guy who is a geek like her. Oh and you know the first questions out of my mouth were.....does he drink or do drugs....to which her reply is nope he's doesn't do either, he's really clean cut, and a total geek like me. I'm really happy for her she needed this more than anyone else! I'm hoping that this will end up getting her where she needs to be in life for herself and not for anyone else. Ok so I need witchy time.......or are all of you getting sick of me :-P!!! I'll bring cake and a new puppy! Labels: Full Moon Fever |

I'm a newlywed who got married on March 15,2008.
I'm currently living at home with my mother, husband,
2 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 tortises. We're saving up for
our first how which we'll hopefully buy soon. I'd
love to start our family, but that like everything
comes in it's own time.
I recently lost my father, and am dealing with his
death the best way I know how. Surrounding myself
with the people I love, and enjoying life like he
would have wanted me to.
