A Scottish Bride

About Myself I'm a newlywed who got married on March 15,2008. I'm currently living at home with my mother, husband, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 tortises. We're saving up for our first how which we'll hopefully buy soon. I'd love to start our family, but that like everything comes in it's own time. I recently lost my father, and am dealing with his death the best way I know how. Surrounding myself with the people I love, and enjoying life like he would have wanted me to.

Ok so between now and the end of June my life is going to be at an all time high with stress. Mostly because my fiance's parents are going to be leaving the country for good on the 11th. He's having a hard time with that and it has yet to fully hit him. So needless to say I'm just waiting for him to completely loose it. Before that happens though we're taking his parents out to dinner for a going away type thing at one of our favorite restaurants...Steven's. Not only is it going to be his parents, but his brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and both my mother and Walrus. This is the first time everyone is basically going to meet. I'm not to worried about it, but I'm a bit nervous. To top it all off I'm on my period....which could explain my frazzled nerves, doubting myself, and the emotional mess I was in all last week.

M (my fiance) is hoping to be totally moved in by the end of June. I'm so excited but fuck I'm scared. I have never had to share my life or space with anyone really(being an only child tends to do that to you). He's basically moved in now, and has spent almost every night with me except maybe one a week since February. However he's always had a back up plan if he got pissed at me, or me at him lol! I have a feeling he's feeling similar emotions as well. He hasn't shared his total space with anyone since he separated from his wife almost 2 or 3 years ago. It's a big step, but in the right direction for sure. It's allowing us to save up a bit of money to put a down payment on a condo/townhouse. I really doubt we'll be purchasing a house because of the expense, and how picky we both tend to be about the location and look of the place.

On a good another good note. I have finally started to get my shit straight when it comes to school. I've finished my classes (almost, 1 more final and I'm done with this semester) and I'm pretty happy. It has taken me 5 years to decide what I want to do, and go back to school. Better late than never though lol!! M is going to be going back with in the next couple years to get his MAB hopefully. Hopefully by that time I'll be getting my BA or on the way to my MA..... or so I would like to hope, but I'm not going to rush it. Especially since I'm taking this summer off to get the rest of the weight off before October. October is the deadline basically for me to loose all my weight (18 months from the date of surgery) before my metabolism catches up. It's scary it's been almost that long since I had it done. After it's all lost I'm looking at a maximum of 4 more surgeries. We'll know for sure how many when I go back and see the doctor. I'm really excited for those too!!

July brings a few more happy moments....
M's year marker at his job and a decent raise (hopefully)
My Birthday
M's Birthday
and A weekend getaway that M has secretly planned for the 2 of us. I have no idea where we're going, where we're staying, or anything else. I can't wait!
